The 2008 Vintage Brut offers a clear and toasty aroma on the nose.
Pure, fresh, lean and delicate but complex and mineral on the palate,
this is a lithe and elegant, very finessed and persistent 2008 with grip
and expression. This is a complex, intense yet light and very elegant
Champagne with a pure, mineral-structured and persistent finish. |

The 2006 Brut Cuvee Rare is a rich, gourmand rendition of this
prestige bottling, unfurling in the glass with a complex bouquet that
mingles aromas of yellow orchard fruit, pears and fresh pineapple with
nuances of buttered toast, iodine and smoke. On the palate, the wine is
full-bodied, broad and textural, while remaining fresh and surprisingly
tight-knit at the core, concluding with a long and saline finish.
There's sufficient structural tension here to promise more than a
decade's graceful evolution, and although this is nicely balanced, it's
a generous, sun kissed rendition of the Cuvee Rare that reflects the
warm vintage. The blend is 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. |

The pale gold, greenish shimmering 2002 Rare Millesime 30% Pinot Noir
and 70% Chardonnay offers a very intense and rich, yet fresh nose of
exotic fruit aromas of pineapples, mango, kiwi and passion fruit. On the
palate, this is a mouthful of luscious Champagne: powerful and intense,
but pure and with the complexity of matured wines. The finish is very
exotic in its fruit aromas, but also persistently mineral. |

年末を控え出てくるのがシャンパンの特価セールです！
しかしながら今年は、コロナウイルスの影響でシャンパンの輸入を各イン
ポーターが控えたため国内在庫が枯渇している状態だそうです。ですから、これ
からの需要期に欠品する恐れがあるということでセール案内が非常に少ないのが
現状です。ならば直ぐに輸入すれば良いではないか？と思うのですが、コンテナ
不足で思うような流通が出来ない状況が続いております。当店も今月予定をして
いたワインの入荷が来年2月と言われ頭を悩ませております。困ったものですね。

The 2008 Brut Rose Cuvee Rare is the second rendition of this cuvee
ever produced, and the wine is showing very well, unwinding in the glass
with a youthfully shy nose featuring white cherries, blood orange, Meyer
lemon, honeysuckle and dried white flowers that offers the promise of
considerable complexity to come. On the palate, the wine is medium to
full-bodied, racy and tight-knit, with good concentration, beautifully
integrated acids and a fine mousse, concluding with a long, saline and
delicately phenolic finish. This is really quite reserved after its
recent disgorgement but should develop beautifully with a few years on
cork. |

The salmon colored 2007 Rose Millesime Rare has a clear, fresh,
slightly oaky-nougat and pretty vinous bouquet. It is a rich and
slightly sweetish yet pure, refined, elegant and well-structured Rose
Champagne with good grip and tension as well as a long, intensely
aromatic and powerful finish. This is great and enormously complex
Champagne with an extraordinary, complex finish. The 2007 is based on
56% Chardonnay and 44% Pinot Noir. Tasted in November 2017. |
