The 2010 Bourgogne is a stunning wine for the money. An exotic, ripe bouquet leads to generous fruit in this supple, juicy Bourgogne. Sweet floral and spiced notes follow, adding complexity on the mid-palate and finish. The 2010 possesses remarkable depth at this level as well as a fabulous overall balance. I can’t think of a better introduction to the vintage and the wines of this great domaine. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2022. |

| これは美味い！ 瑞々しくて若いながら、甘酸っぱい旨みが心地よい酸に包まれて非常に好印象です。 大御所だと感じさせるバランス感も良いですね。 近年の濃いネットリ感のあるピノではなく、爽やかなピノです。 香りも控えめながら、ピノのよさが出ています |

美しくふっくらとしたきれいな黒赤果実香。 加えてこのクラスからして大地香もしっかり。 また、とても甘やかな香りはいかにも09年だ。 口に含むととても滑らかな液体で、ジューシーでしなやか。 味は甘く、酸度が低く、とても09年的。 しかしここは名手、決してベタついた味ではなく、ミネラルのおかげで複雑性のある美味しいワインに仕上がっている（10年12月試飲）

The 2010 Nuits St. Georges Les Chaignots shows the more delicate, finessed side of Nuits in its red cherries, flowers and spices. The influence of the location of this site, on the northern side of Nuits abutting Vosne, comes through in the wine’s elegance. Firm tannins suggest the wine will need at least a few years in bottle to soften. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2030. |

2010 Robert Chevillon Nuits St Georges les Vaucrains

Les Vaucrains, Nuits St Georges, Burgundy, France
The 2010 Nuits St. Georges Les Vaucrains is one of the more delicate wines next to some of the other 2010s. It shows gorgeous fleshiness in its layers of dark red fruit, spices and flowers. The Vaucrains is all about textural elegance and volume. The sensual finish makes this very hard to spit. Today the Vaucrains comes across as silkier and more finessed than the St. Georges, suggesting it may come around a bit earlier. That may also just be wishful thinking on my part. We will see. This is another breathtaking wine from the Chevillon brothers. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2025. |

The 2010 Nuits St. Georges Les Cailles comes across as cool, mineral infused and a bit reticent. With time in the glass the aromas and flavors begin to take shape. The Cailles remains a firm, structured Nuits that will require considerable patience, but its expressive fruit and gorgeous inner perfume bode very well for the future. Menthol, graphite, spices, tar and licorice wrap around the persistent, saline finish. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2035. |
