1999年からワイナリーを始めたのに、そのワインの評価は各ワイン誌で大絶賛を受けています。　
現在3種類のピノ・ノワールをリリースしているようです。　初リリースの2001年から高得点をマークして
話題をさらい、ロバート・パーカーも毎年採点しています。　素晴らしいのは、最低でも８９ｐという
レベルの高さです。　ますます今後の動向が気になるワインですね。
オーナーはボブ・デイヴィッズで、かなりの財産を持っているようで、究極のピノを造りだす事を念頭に
邁進しています。　今カリフォルニアで最も注目を集めるピノを生み出すワイナリーであります

大変好感の持てるピノですよ！　カリフォルニアらしくなく、正統派ブルゴーニュって感じの仕上がりです。　それは、変な甘さが無いからです。　香りも上品でリッチです。　ブラインドで飲んで、ブルゴーニュ以外の産地とは誰も思いつかないと思います。　私は、ヴォーヌ・ロマネの1erCruかな？と感じた次第です。　今飲んでもOKですが、1-2年後に飲んだほうが更にベストかと　　久々に第3国のワインで、気品を感じるワインに出会えました（笑）

かなり密度の濃いピノです。　かなりの熟成も期待できますが、今飲んでも美味しいですよ。　ブルゴーニュで言うと良年のヴォーヌ･ロマネの濃度があります。　今飲むのであれば　私的には、ボテイラの方がバランスが良いように感じますが、全てに於いてサウシングの方がポテンシャルは上だと断言できます。　一度お試し下さいませ

From a vineyard planted in clay/loam soils, the 2004 Pinot Noir Botella exhibits a dense ruby/purple hue along with black currant and black cherry aromas and a hint of flowers. Full body, sweet tannin, enough acidity to provide uplift and definition, and a textured, savory mouthfeel give this wine an early charm, but there is actually more concentration and length in this cuvee than in the impressive Southing. The 2004 Pinot Noir Ten (from ten separate clones) possesses a deep ruby/purple-tinged color, sweet cranberry, raspberry, and cherry fruit, and a hint of toasty oak in the background. The most closed as well as the biggest and richest of this trio, it will benefit from another 12 months of cellaring, and should drink well for a decade or more.
